Our article posting:

  • We are Kim and Kathy and have been best friends since the ages of 11 and 12. Really, best friends for over 35 years! We won’t tell you how many years over 35 or which one is older.

We have been there for each other through thick and thin. Our love of photography started with our little “110 cameras”, we practically kept Kodak film in business during the 70′s. We would have photography sessions, shooting everything and anything that would stay still for us to pose!

Not surprisingly, we both grew up to become professional photographers. Over the years we repeatedly were getting requests from couples to recommend a ceremony location that was quiet and private for their intimate elopement wedding. We envisioned the perfect solution, a little waterfront log chapel in the country.

We are so proud to offer Niagara Falls Canada’s only little log chapel!

    About Their Niagara Wedding Chapel

2012 was a very special year for us, as this was the year our dream finally came true. We had been thinking about building a little log chapel for many years but never had the time to make it happen! Thank goodness for our husbands and our trusted carpenter Ray, who all worked very hard on creating our gorgeous little chapel. It started out with a paper napkin drawing and a vision in our minds of how it would be. At times there were too many cooks in the kitchen, as our husbands both had some really great ideas and suggestions, but in the end we could hardly contain our enthusiasm as the final result exceeded our expectations.

We’ve given thought to every detail:

    • Warm wooden logs
    • Fresh pine scent
    • Romantic mood lighting from the chandelier and in the pulpit
    • Antique flooring and door (from the 60 year old cottage that resided on the property)
    • Heating and air conditioning

There is an eclectic mix of old and new that gives our little log chapel so much character, and the grounds surrounding it are private and serene.

So surf no more, you have found the most cozy and intimate private chapel in Niagara!

We welcome you, please come and be our guest!
